Chemistry of Aerosols in Mexico City: MILAGRO 2006 study.

EMSL Project ID
19792

Abstract

The MILAGRO (Megacity Initiative: Local and Global Research Observations) Campaign in Mexico City 2006 was a collaborative effort with the DOE Atmospheric Science Program, the NSF MIRAGE-Mex field study, the Mexico City Metropolitan Area (MCMA-2006) study and the NASA INTEX-B field study. These efforts were focused on obtaining detailed measurements of the radiative, physical, and chemical properties of aerosols. This proposal seeks to employ an array of EMSL hosted analytical methods for chemical and microscopy characterization of aerosol samples collected during the MILAGRO study.
