EMSL LEARN Webinar Series

1000 Fungal Proteins: Annotating Proteins of Unknown Function

Wednesday, April 10

noon to 1 p.m. PDT

Speakers: James Evans and Irina El-Khoury

The April 10 EMSL LEARN webinar will focus on the 1000 Fungal Proteins project, which the Environmental Molecular Sciences Laboratory (EMSL) developed to address a gap in information about protein characterization.

EMSL established the 1000 Fungal Proteins Pipeline that will characterize proteins. The pipeline consists of functional screening, structural annotation, and post-translational modification profiling.

Through this project, researchers will explore biochemical, cell biological and genetic approaches to characterizing proteins, based on samples provided by EMSL users.

Presentation recording now available.
