Isotope labeling to track nutrient flow at the root-soil-microbe interface
May 31, 2023
The EMSL LEARN webinar, "Isotope labeling to track nutrient flow at the root-soil-microbe interface", will be held at 12 p.m. Pacific daylight time on Wednesday, May 31.
Recording of presentation is now available.
The webinar presentation will include the following:
- Amir Ahkami will provide an overview of EMSL’s capabilities for monitoring carbon and nutrient flux in biological systems, specifically in the rhizosphere.
- Sophie Lehmann will explain how you can leverage EMSL’s multiple isotope ratio mass spectrometry (IRMS) capabilities to accelerate your rhizosphere research.
- John Cliff will discuss how nanoscale secondary ion mass spectrometry can be used for imaging isotopes.
- Jim Moran will walk through how he used laser ablation IRMS to study carbon exchange in microbial mats and switchgrass.
