Unlock a deeper understanding of biological function by correlating metabolic profiles directly with spatial organization in complex environmental and microbial samples.

Join us for an EMSL LEARN webinar on spatial metabolomics, EMSL's suite of capabilities for visualizing metabolic processes and chemical distributions in complex samples.

Presentations include the following:

  • Chemist Dušan Veličković will focus on spatial metabolomics of the rhizosphere and microbes using MALDI-MSI, revealing metabolic interactions in native environments.

  • Fiona Ellsworth, a PhD candidate in Earth Sciences, will discuss how she used EMSL's RhizoMAP capability—a nondestructive platform for metabolic imaging—to advance her recent project.

  • Chemist Marija Veličković will highlight Laser Capture Microdissection-metabolomics, detailing techniques for isolating and analyzing specific cell types or regions.

  • Chemist Che Clendinen will walk through the nano Liquid Chromatography-MS/MS setup and data analysis workflows essential for processing spatially resolved samples.
