June 13-17: EMSL computing resources, data portals, and instruments offline

Several EMSL computing and online resources will be offline for maintenance beginning at 2 p.m. Pacific daylight time on Thursday, June 13. The outage will run through 5 p.m. on Monday, June 17.

The Environmental Molecular Sciences Laboratory (EMSL) will have a scheduled outage for maintenance starting at 2 p.m. Pacific daylight time on Thursday, June 13. The outage will run through 5 p.m. on Monday, June 17. 

During this outage, the following platforms and resources will be offline:

  • Tahoma
  • Aurora
  • EMSL User Portal (NEXUS)
  • EMSL Science Central™
  • LIMS
  • EMSL data portals
  • A variety of EMSL instruments

We apologize for any inconvenience. The outage is designed to help extend the lifespan of EMSL systems and to improve resource functionality for EMSL users.

For Tahoma users:
Jobs submitted to the queue before the downtime, which will not be complete before 2 p.m. (PDT) Thursday, June 13, will be held in the queue and run when Tahoma is returned to service. Once back online, if users observe problematic changes, email msc-consulting@pnnl.gov with as much detail as possible.
