Julie Mitchell

Julie Mitchell is the chair for the Environmental Molecular Sciences Laboratory's Science and Technology Advisory Committee and the director of  Oak Ridge National Laboratory's Biosciences Division. She has more than two decades of experience working at the interface of quantitative and biological sciences. Mitchell's computational biophysics work emphasizes the use of machine learning in predictive models for molecular interactions.
