Abstract
Abstract
Protiated and deuterated samples of triuranyl diphosphate tetrahydrate (TDT: (UO2)3(PO4)2•4H2O) have been prepared to gain further insights into the distinct water populations in TDT. The information that can be accrued from Raman Confocal Microscopy at EMSL is of critical importance to the ongoing bulk and nanoscale characterization studies of TDT particularly as it pertains to understanding the role of H2O in hydrated uranyl phosphates.
