Graphene Oxide Based Structured Laminar Membranes

EMSL Project ID
48710

Abstract

Structured laminar membranes, consisting of hierarchically stacked, overlapping layers of 2D graphene oxide (GOx), are a fascinating and promising new class of materials with the potential for radically improved water separation with excellent selectivity and high permeability. The project is funded (in its second year) by the Material Synthesis and Simulation Across Scales (MS3) Initiative.
