X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy of Materials for Hydrogen Storage

EMSL Project ID
8191

Abstract

X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy will be performed on conducting polymers such as polyaniline and polypyrole, polymer-mesoporous silica composites, and ammonium borane-mesoporous silica composites. It is important to characterize electronic structure of these materials in order to development and optimize them as potential hydrogen storage materials.
