Limited Scope Proposals

Limited Scope proposals are short-term projects intended for proof-of-concept work or to conclude the remaining tasks required for manuscript publication. Proposals must be aligned to EMSL and Department of Energy Biological and Environmental Research program priorities.

There is a limit of one limited scope project per Research Team every other year. Limited scope proposals are accepted at the discretion of management, based on current staffing, available funding, and instrument availability. Projects are typically three months to complete all project deliverables and data delivery.

Applications open October 1 and remain open until available resources are allocated.
