Justin Teeguarden
Chief Science Officer

Justin Teeguarden is a Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) Fellow and EMSL’s Chief Science Officer. With over 20 years of scientific leadership as a computational and experimental scientist, Teeguarden leads EMSL's strategic science planning and internal R&D initiatives. He currently serves as vice-chair of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) Board of Scientific Counselors Homeland Security Subcommittee, as PNNL’s representative to the Indo Pacific Research Alliance for Military Medicine, and he holds a joint appointment with the Department of Environmental and Molecular Toxicology at Oregon State University (OSU) where he is the principal investigator on the PNNL-OSU National Institutes of Health Superfund research program. Teeguarden has served on multiple National Academy of Sciences (NAS) Committees, and his various roles are a result of extensive experience in computational modeling, toxicology, and exposure science.
