Piliang Xiang
Post Doctorate RA B
Piliang Xiang is currently a postdoctorate research associate in the Research Technology, Development, & Deployment team in the Environmental Molecular Sciences Laboratory at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory. He acquired his PhD from the University of Oklahoma where he spent years developing a narrow open tubular liquid chromatography (OTLC) technology for ultrahigh sensitive and high-throughput OTLC applications. In his role, he developed a deep ultraviolet laser ablation system. This system can easily collect samples from various tissue sections, including tough plant tissues, with sub-cellular resolution.
