Sankar Krishnamoorthy
Chemist
Sankar Krishnamoorthy is chemist with the Cell Signaling and Communication Integrated Research Platform. He has more than 11 years of experience in organic chemistry through the development of new synthetic methods and a variety of tailored small molecules to tackle challenges in medicinal chemistry, biomedical device development, organic flow batteries, and chemical biology. Krishnamoorthy has experience in organic redox flow batteries, surface functionalization of 3-D printed materials,metal oxides with small molecules, synthetic and bio polymers (DNA).
He is contributing to EMSL's chemical biology capability development. Krishnamoorthy is engaging EMSL users for probe development to understand enzyme functions and biochemical pathway characterization in BER relevant biosystems.
