High Resoulution Infrared Spectroscopy of Methyl Phosphonic Difluoride

EMSL Project ID
15903

Abstract

We will record the high resoulution infrared spectrum of methyl phosphonic difluoride in the mid-infrared region. The purpose of this project is to identify individual ro-vibrational transitions that can be used for environmental sensing. This work will involve the use of the Bruker IFS 125HR spectrometer and long pass (40 meter) White cell. The experiments will be conducted at room temperature.
