Transient Kinetics Experiments for Studying Catalytic Reactions for H2 Production

Abstract

We will collaborate with Rob Disselkamp to perform transient kinetic analyses (TKA) with isotopic labelling to determine the mechanisms and elementary-step rate constant parameters for catalytic reactions of interest in hydrogen production for use in vehicular fuel cells. We will help develop a state-of-the-art facility for such experiments at EMSL and apply it to such reactions. See attached LDRD proposal for details.
