High Resolution Infrared Spectroscopy of cis-cis and trans-trans Difluorobutadiene

EMSL Project ID
16991

Abstract

We will record and analyze rotationally resolved mid-infrared spectra of cis-cis and trans-trans difluorobutadiene (two separate parameters). The purpose of the work is to determine structural and force field parameters for the molecules. The samples will be prepared at Oberlin College and shipped to PNNL where the samples will be run.
