Surface Studies of TiO2(111)

Conduct fundamental surface studies on the adsorpiton, desoprtion and reactions of small probe molecules on the 9111) surface of TiO2 rutile. The focus will primarily be on the relationship betweeen the structure of the oxide surface and the chemical properties of the adsorbates. The primary adsorbates will be formic acid and water.
