Theoretical and Experimental Investigations of Solid Acid Catalysis

EMSL Project ID
1839

Abstract

We are using a variety of theoretical methods along with in situ NMR spectroscopy to study catalysis by solid acids such as zeolites and sulfated zirconia. Also looking at green catalysts to replace toxic acids used in commercial alkylation.
