Electrochemical studies of fluorinated polymers
EMSL Project ID

Abstract
The compounds I hope we can look at aredendrimers terminating in multiple units of either of CF2CF2OCF2CF2SO2Fof CF2CF2OCF2CF2SO2NPyrr (NPyrr = pyrrole). The sulfonylfluoride and sulfonamide functionalitis are susceptible to alkaline hydrolysis to give sulfonates (e.g. -SO3Li), which are typically ion conducting. We are unaware of more than a few reports on electrical conducting dendrimers. Hence, every results we obtain from the experiments I'd mentioned and others you may suggest will help to piece a good report eventually. I have reference of a few reports on electrical conductance by dendrimers. The references below will suggest guideline for procedures we would like to explore. I will look forward to your mail. 1.
