DNA- Protein Kinase Complex: Defining the participants

Abstract
We are primarily interested in looking for novel and known DNA-PK associated proteins. We plan to use purified monoclonal antibodies that recognize either Ku80 or DNA-PKcs and make small affinity columns using these Ab’s and affinity purify complexes from whole cell lysates of human cells (HeLa). There is sufficient material for many MS runs from a singlepurification and to collect comparitive data for DNA-PKcs and Ku, hopefully this will allow us to differentiate between proteins associated indepently with Ku, or PKcs and by comparing the pools, determine a subset of DNA-PK associated proteins.
