(emsl2384a) Lattice Boltzmann Methods

EMSL Project ID
2384a

Abstract

Lattice Boltzmann is a new method for simulating flow and transport in complex systems. It has several advantages over conventional computational fluid dynamics, especially that it is inherently parallelizable. The computational resources requested would be used to expand the capabilities of the program in such a way as to increase the probability of being involved in a Grand Challenge proposal.
