Pulsed EPR Studies of Vanadium Catalysts

EMSL Project ID
2476

Abstract

In on going work in my laboratory, we are using CW EPR spectroscopy to study vanadium cataysts. Vanadium-exchanged zeolites are aactive catalysts for the selective catalytic redution of nitric oxide with ammonia. These materials could potenially be used in emission abatement applications. In a related project, peroxovanadate gels are being investigated for applications as oxidation catalysts. We have been able to measure vanadium g and A values for the vanadium catalysts.
