FEDERALLY-FUNDED FELLOWS PROGRAM IN EMSL for 2009

EMSL Project ID
36403

Abstract

This proposal creates an umbrella proposal for students and faculty members who are funded by special federal programs that seek to promote science in minorities and education fields. Federally-funded fellows are teamed with EMSL staff members to advance their understanding of fundamental science and technology using the resources in EMSL. The scope of work for each fellowship is based on agreements between EMSL staff and the Office of Science and Engineering Education, and will fall under existing IOPS access requirements and reviews. Fellows under this proposal will not be counted as users, and are not required to sign the Non-proprietary User Agreements. Instead, the standard Battelle IP agreements and proof of insurance will cover their activities while in the laboratory.

Descriptions of the programs supported under this proposal are attached as Additional Files.
