Multiplexed Direct Write of Semiconductor nanostructures

EMSL Project ID
42895

Abstract

The main goal of this rapid access proposal is to elucidate the chemical composition of the nanostructures written with the AFM from the high field reaction of inorganic precursors. Specifically we are interested in: (1) elucidating the chemical composition of nanostructure direct write from diphenylsilane, (2) elucidating the spatially controlled chemical composition of heterostructures written from alternating diphenylsilane and diphenylgermane as precursors, (3) elucidating the elemental composition and stoichiometry of nanostructures written from mixtures of diphenylsilane and diphenylgermane. This characterization will lead to a publication to be submitted by the second week of december
