Conceptual Animations of Efficient Enzymes within Functionalized Mesoporous Silica

EMSL Project ID
24091

Abstract

These conceptual animations will illustrate how enzymes when held in functionalized mesoporous silica (FMS) become highly efficient catalysts. The process of using FMS for re-energizing inactive enzymes will also be depicted using animation. Finally the animation will highlight how these efficient enzymes can be put to use in energy production and remediation of toxic pollutants.
