High throughput FTICR Strategies for the Molecular Analysis of Cancer

EMSL Project ID
3056

Abstract

This human proteome project focuses on the development of a global accurate mass and time (AMT) tag database using cultured human mammary epithelial cells (HMEC). The generation of AMT tag databases is a well-documented process for microbial organisms. This project represents an extension of the established AMT tag method to a mammalian system for the first time. Multidimensional (3D) separations will be employed. The surface exposed cytoplasmic membrane subproteome of HMEC will also be characterized in this project.
