Chemical Imaging Analysis of Environmental Particles

EMSL Project ID
44638

Abstract

This project focuses on laboratory studies that investigate the relationship between particle morphology, composition, formation, reactivity, and evaporation by developing novel methods for chemical imaging analysis. The deliverables for this work will be size, morphology, and internal compositions pertinent to heterogeneous chemistry of organic and soot particles over atmospherically relevant conditions of particle sizes, concentrations of gas-phase reactants, atmospheric pressure, and relative humidity
