Molecular Phenotyping of Plants & Microbes (MolPheno) for the PRedicting Ecosystem Resilience through Multiscale and Integrative Science (PREMIS) initiative

Abstract

Abstract

This proposal aims to provide the fundamental molecular characterization necessary to develop a model which ultimately links phenotypic measurements to the soil biogeochemistry associated with Setaria during drought stress. Ultimately, these connections will serve in elucidating the complexities of metabolism and will aim to connect the genome and molecular profiles and phenotypes with observational phenotypes, plant functional traits (e.g., biomass, root allometry), and the soil microbiome.
