Development of organophosphorus compounds for solid-state lighting applications

EMSL Project ID
8600

Abstract

The current project involves development of novel organophosphorus compounds for solid-state lighting applications. Structure characterization of these materials requires solution NMR analysis (1H, 13C and 31P NMR). The NMR studies are crucial for structure elucidation, as well as determination of purity. Furthermore, NMR characterization is required for publication of new materials in peer-reviewed journals. Anticipated NMR time needed for the project includes once a week for 31P NMR and twice a month for 1H and 13C experiments.
