Probing complex microbiomes using mass spectrometry and sequencing capabilities to understand how microbiomes are influenced by their environment

This proposal will utilize next generation sequencing and mass spectrometry (MS) capabilities to address key knowledge gaps in our functional understanding of how complex microbiomes influence and are influenced by their surrounding environment (i.e. soil environment, gut environment, etc).
