Evan Felix
Computing Engineer

Evan Felix is an accomplished high-performance computing engineer at the Environmental Molecular Sciences Laboratory (EMSL). With over 21 years of experience, he excels in system administration, software development, and large storage system design. Evan's expertise ensures the smooth operation of EMSL's Tahoma and Compass supercomputers, enhances performance metrics and displays, and facilitates collaboration across research institutions. He is a vital asset to EMSL, continually pushing the boundaries of computational science in molecular research.

  • Linux file systems, Lustre, Ceph, BeeGFS, and other parallel file systems  
  • Creating, maintaining, and monitoring large-scale computational systems for scientific research using high-performance computing systems
