cellenONE
cellenONE is a single-cell isolation and dispensing platform with applications for transcriptomics and proteomics. This technology enables high-throughput and automated dispensing of individual cells as well as image processing. Environmental Molecular Sciences Laboratory (EMSL) users can access and apply cellenONE to their research by submitting a proposal to an open call for proposals.
Research application
Supporting the Cell Signaling and Communication Integrated Research Platform enables applications that support single-cell biology analysis, including scRNA-seq, snucRNA-seq, scATAC-seq, and scM.
Supporting the Biomolecular Pathways Integrated Research Platform provides single-cell isolation and dispensing on NanoPOTS and NanoSPLITS platforms for multi-omics analysis.
Supporting the Rhizosphere Function Integrated Research Platform allows single plant protoplast isolations that investigate how individual plant cells respond to internal and external stimuli.
Tips for success
This specialized instrument can be custom developed to handle different types of samples and applications. Contact EMSL to discuss ways to utilize this instrument for your research needs.
Contributing teams and resources
EMSL develops and deploys capabilities for the user program by conducting original research independently or in partnership with others and by adapting/advancing science and technologies developed outside of EMSL. In some instances, EMSL directly deploys mature capabilities developed by others where there is value for the EMSL user community. The following grants/activities, PI’s and teams contributed to the development of this capability:
- Lye Meng Markillie, LDRD PN21099/3438 and LDRD PN22088/3533
- Ying Zhu, EMSL Partner Proposal 51834 with Scienion
