Predicting adverse biological effects for chemicals of concern through integration of functional profiling with artificial intelligence/machine learning (AI/ML)

EMSL Project ID
60648

Abstract

We will use thermal proteome profiling (TPP) to identify protein targets and pathways affected by exposure to a chemical of concern (COC). As a next step, we will use an artificial intelligence/machine learning (AI/ML) model that has been trained on data from existing toxicological databases and augmented with potential protein targets from TPP to improve the model performance in an iterative loop and develop integrated capabilities for prediction of the potential of a COC to cause harm.
